Even the youngest kids liked them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1-2 baking potatoes per person<\/p>\n<p>3\/4 cup milk<\/p>\n<p>1 t. salt and pepper<\/p>\n<p>1 T. butter<\/p>\n<p>1 green onion chopped<\/p>\n<p>1 can of crabmeat, drained<\/p>\n<p>3\/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated<\/p>\n<p>Wash and bake potatoes in their skin for 1 hr at 350. \u00a0When done, let them cool for 5 min. \u00a0Cut in half the long way. \u00a0Carefully scoop out the middle, being careful not to tear the skin. Place scooped out insides into a mixing bowl. \u00a0Set shells on a backing sheet, open side up. \u00a0Mash the scooped out potato, add butter, salt, pepper, milk, and chopped onion and mix together. \u00a0Add drained crabmeat. \u00a0Scoop back into shells, filling level with top of cut area. \u00a0Sprinkle with cheese. \u00a0Bake 10 min at 350. If you want them browned, broil on high for 1-2 min until bubbly.<\/p>\n<p>Serve with a tossed salad and side vegetable. \u00a0Great for lent or anytime you want to stretch a little food a long way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These were really popular when my mother visited from out of town.
